Sharmila Pandey to Produce Film Starring Pradeep & Gaurav

Kathmandu: Producer Sharmila Pandey, known for films like Love Love Love, Aama, and Parastri, is gearing up for a new film project, this time with her son, director Suraj Pandey, at the helm.

Suraj, who made his directorial debut with Parastri, will direct the film while Sharmila takes the reins as producer once again. She has revealed that talks are currently underway with popular actors Pradeep Khadka and Gaurav Bista to play the lead roles.

Pandey stated, “Pradeep said he can give me time after six months,” following their meeting. She also confirmed that Pradeep is expected to travel to the U.S. to meet director Suraj Pandey and go through the script in person.

According to Sharmila, the film will feature two male leads, and the entire shoot will take place in America. Gaurav Bista previously collaborated with Sharmila in Parastri, and both Gaurav and Pradeep starred together in the film Pitamber.

With a growing reputation for producing emotionally resonant and visually compelling films, Sharmila Pandey remains a key figure in the Nepali film industry. Her next venture, combining the creative vision of her son and top-tier acting talent, is already generating buzz.
