
Sushil Shrestha & Biraj Bhatta Unite for ‘Ram Naam Satya’
Kathmandu: Nepali cinema is gearing up for a powerhouse action collaboration as Sushil Shrestha and Biraj Bhatta come together in the upcoming film Ram Naam Satya. Known for his promising role in Outlaw, Sushil has officially signed on to lead the film, directed by Mycall Chand.
Sushil signed the contract on Wednesday and said he was immediately drawn to the powerful script. The film, featuring two generations of action stars, will showcase intense action sequences with both leads in major combat roles.
Biraj Bhatta, one of Nepal’s most iconic action heroes, had already joined the cast. With both actors on board, audiences are expecting thrilling on-screen chemistry.
The film is being produced under the Mycall Entertainment House banner. Upendra Shahi, Sweta Bimli, and Uttam Gurung are investing in the film, while Dr. D. R. Upadhyay, T. R. Gaudel, and Narendra Shah are serving as executive producers. Casting for the female lead and some supporting roles is still underway.
Director Mycall Chand, who has previously directed over two dozen music videos, is making his feature film directorial debut. Calling Ram Naam Satya his “dream project,” he aims to bring a fresh and unique flavor to Nepali cinema with this film. Production is set to begin in the coming months.
