Kathmandu: The highly anticipated Nepali film Maharajdhiraj continues to build buzz as actor Pushpa Khadka officially joins its already star-studded cast. The film, directed by Parichhed Sen, is all set to begin filming in the second week of this month, and the addition of Pushpa has added more excitement to the project.

The producers signed a formal agreement with Pushpa on Sunday, confirming his role as one of the film’s leads. The actor will now share the screen with major industry names such as Ramesh Upreti, Aryan Sigdel, Paul Shah, Barsha Raut, Barsha Siwakoti, and Jay Kishan Basnet. This high-profile casting has significantly raised audience expectations for the film.

Maharajdhiraj is being produced under the banner of Chhatreshwor Management Pvt. Ltd., with Biraj Bista as the presenter. The production team also includes Topendra Bista, Chakra Bahadur KC, and Ravi Khadka. The film is written and directed by Parichhed Sen, known for his critically acclaimed film Premganj.

The film is slated for a nationwide release during the upcoming Phulpati festival, and the growing list of talented actors suggests Maharajdhiraj could be one of the most talked-about Nepali releases of the year.
