‘Bigul’ Nears Wrap in Chitwan with Benisha and Naren

Kathmandu: The upcoming Nepali film Bigul, starring Benisha Hamal and Naren Khadka, is wrapping up its shooting schedule in various locations around Chitwan. Directed by Ramesh Koirala, the production began in late Baisakh and has now reached its final leg in the region.

“Despite the extreme heat, shooting is going smoothly,” said Koirala. “We’re nearly done here in Chitwan. The remaining two songs and a few scenes will be shot in Kathmandu.”

Based on a story by Dinesh Koirala, Bigul is a socially driven film that blends entertainment with a message. It features an ensemble cast including Binod Neupane, Nir Shah, Rabindra Khadka, Ramesh Budhathoki, Geeta Adhikari, Saroj Khanal, Shishir Bangdel, Ishwari Baral, and new actress Mira Pandit.

The film is produced by Mahesh Koirala and Suryakant Koirala under the Magnolia Group banner and is presented by Kalpana Poudel. Bigul also stands out for its musical team, which includes Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma, Arjun Pokharel, and Manoj Chaulagain.

Choreography is handled by Kamal Rai and Kabiraj Gahatraj, with cinematography by Shiv Dhakal and conflict direction by NB Maharjan. The screenplay is written by Maunata Shrestha, and Shyam KC is managing production.

The film is set for a 2082 release, and with its socially relevant themes and star-studded cast, Bigul is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated Nepali films of the year.
