Director Krisha Chaulagain Signs International Film Project
Kathmandu: Director Krisha Chaulagain, who gained widespread attention after her successful direction of the action-packed multi-starrer Pitamber, has now embarked on a new international venture.
Currently on a visit to Japan, Krisha has signed an exciting new film deal for an untitled project under UNA Productions, a sister company of UNA Entertainment. The upcoming film will feature an international cast from Nepal, India, and the Philippines, with additional collaboration from a Japanese team.
The agreement was officially signed between UNA Productions’ head Ujjwal Guragain and Krisha Chaulagain. Filming is set to begin in Bhadra and will take place across Nepal, Japan, and the Philippines.
While the title and cast will be revealed soon, it is reported that Krisha has been offered a significant amount for her role as director. Although the exact amount hasn’t been disclosed, her growing reputation and success make this one of the most talked-about Nepali international collaborations in recent times.
Krisha has expressed her dedication to the new project, emphasizing that she is fully committed to living up to the trust her audience placed in her after Pitamber. The script is currently in development, and more details are expected soon.
