Jante Bakhro Releases Nationwide to Positive Response

Kathmandu: The Nepali film ‘Jante Bakhro’ has officially hit theaters across Nepal starting today. The family-friendly comedy-drama premiered to enthusiastic reviews, receiving praise for its humor, emotional core, and social relevance. Exhibitors across the country have responded by allocating a significant number of show slots, especially in major multiplex chains.

The film has secured notable screenings in major QFX cinema locations such as Darbar Cinemax, Bhaktapur, Labim Mall, Civil Mall, Chhaya Center, and others. Outside Kathmandu, cities including Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Butwal, Biratnagar, and Chitwan are also hosting multiple screenings, indicating a wide release footprint.

Directed by Simosh Sunuwar and written by Pradeep Bhardwaj, the film features a stellar ensemble cast including Saugat Malla, Asif Shah, Garima Sharma, Rama Thapaliya, Lokendra Lekhak, Kamal Devkota, Bishal Pahadi, Rusha Neupane, and more.

Producer Santosh Gautam expressed confidence that the film’s positive reception will lead to increased screenings and stronger box office performance in the coming days. With a blend of comedy, family drama, and rural realism, Jante Bakhro aims to entertain while touching on socially relevant issues.
