‘Ke Ghar Ke Dera 2’ Earns Praise in 2nd Week

Kathmandu: Nepali film Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2 has entered its second week in theaters, receiving a warm response from the audience. The makers of the film claim that strong word-of-mouth and relatable storytelling are driving the film’s performance at the box office.

Directed by Dipendra K. Khanal and written by acclaimed author Buddhi Sagar, the film tells a heartfelt story about the meaning of “home” through the unique perspectives of its characters. Audiences have described the film as a touching portrayal of everyday life and relationships.

“The film has been appreciated for its grounded story and emotional depth,” said director Khanal. “It’s a story about homes, seen through different lenses of emotion and personal connection.”

The ensemble cast features top Nepali actors including Khagendra Lamichhane, Aryan Sigdel, Nischal Basnet, Keki Adhikari, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Srijana Napit, Prakash Ghimire, Sanjog Rasaili, Rubina Ghimire, and Suraj Bista.

The film is executive produced by Yubaraj Karki, with investments from Nakim Uddin, Sharad Shrestha, and Kiran Maharjan. As new films compete at the box office, Ke Ghar Ke Dera: Ghar No. 2 continues to hold its ground in its second week, indicating solid audience engagement and interest.
