Paul Shah’s Dual Avatar Revealed in Mohar’s New Poster

Kathmandu: The new poster of the much-anticipated Nepali film Mohar has been officially released, revealing actor Paul Shah in what appears to be a dual avatar. The film is slated for release on Shrawan 23 (August 7, 2025).

Directed and written by Om Prateek, the film’s latest promotional material hints at an intriguing storyline. In the poster, Paul Shah is seen embracing two different female leads — Benisha Hamal and Niti Shah — in two drastically different looks, one with long hair and one with short. This contrast has fueled speculation among fans that the actor may be portraying two distinct characters in the film.

The film is described as a story based on “unwritten rules,” and the poster alone has managed to stir audience curiosity. According to the filmmakers, Mohar’s official teaser will drop on Jestha 27 (June 10, 2025), which is expected to offer deeper insight into the mysterious plot.

Produced by Chumban Jung Shahi under the banner of Filmmakers Pvt. Ltd., Mohar boasts an impressive cast that includes Arjun Jung Shahi, Mithila Sharma, Ravindra Jha, Laxmi Giri, and child artist Sara Sharma.

Behind the camera, the team includes Dipen Basnet as director of photography, Kumar Maharjan handling action direction, and music composed by Suresh Adhikari and SD Yogi. Lyrics are penned by Pramod Dhungana and Hark Saud.

The film also features Giriraj Ghimire as the chief assistant director and Laxman Raj Paudel as the production controller.

As the countdown to release continues, Mohar is already being positioned as one of the most talked-about Nepali films of the year, with its suspenseful story, star-studded cast, and strong emotional appeal.
