Rubeena Thapa Gives Birth to Baby Girl Named Joon

Kathmandu: Actress and model Rubeena Thapa has embraced motherhood! On Thursday, she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at Norvic Hospital in Thapathali. Sharing the joy with her fans, Rubeena posted an emotional photo holding her newborn, revealing her name as “Joon.”

The announcement has been met with a flood of congratulations from fans and celebrities alike on social media. Rubeena had previously announced her pregnancy in February, and the couple had been eagerly awaiting the new addition.

Rubeena, who married Bikrant Shrestha prior to her acting debut, has taken a step back from films for the past three years. Her last silver screen appearance was in the 2022 movie “Ma.” She had previously starred in “Dandako Bar Pipal” opposite actor Salon Basnet.

Though her filmography includes only three films, Rubeena has featured in over 100 music videos, gaining significant recognition, especially after the pandemic. While her films didn’t achieve commercial success, her role in “Love Diaries” was praised and even earned her an award.
