Samragyee RL Shah Signed for Lead Role in Upcoming Film ‘Jadau’

Kathmandu: Actress Samragyee Rajya Laxmi Shah has officially signed on as the lead in the upcoming social romantic drama ‘Jadau.’  The film was announced earlier this year on Baisakh 1, coinciding with the start of the Nepali New Year 2082.

A joint venture between Silver Screen Entertainment and Samishran Movies & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., Jadau is conceptualized and penned by Kaji Limbu, though the director’s name has yet to be disclosed.

The film is slated to begin shooting in Bhadra, with cinematography by Shyam Tamang and production managed by Buddi Majhi. The soundtrack will feature compositions by renowned music director Babul Giri.

Om Chemjong, Rajaram Subedi, and Shanta Tamang will serve as co-producers. According to Anjan Sharma, director at Samishran Movies, further details about the remaining cast and crew will be revealed soon. The production team aims to release the film within the year 2082.

Fans can look forward to seeing Samragyee in a new avatar in what promises to be a heartfelt romantic drama set against a socially engaging backdrop.
