‘Soltini’ Unveils First Song ‘Satya Jugaiko’ Featuring Prakash Saput and Parikshya Limbu

Kathmandu: The first song from the upcoming Nepali film ‘Soltini,’ titled ‘Satya Jugaiko,’ has been officially released. This vibrant track is based on the traditional Eastern Maruni rhythm and features vocals by Prashant Siwakoti and Asmita Adhikari. Notably, this marks Adhikari’s debut in the Maruni genre.

Filmed in the scenic landscapes of Bhojpur, the music video showcases captivating performances by lead actors Prakash Saput and Parikshya Limbu, along with Sundar Dhital and Sabbu Gurung. The choreography is crafted by Mausam Himali.

According to director Arjun Subedi, ‘Soltini’ will offer a fresh cinematic flavor, tackling issues like social injustice and caste discrimination while highlighting a unique love story. This marks the first on-screen pairing of Prakash and Parikshya.

The film boasts a powerful ensemble cast including Wilson Bikram Rai, Rabindra Jha, Prakash Ghimire, Prem Subba, Kabita Ale, and others. The screenplay is written by Arjun Subedi and Kumar Bhattarai, while cinematography is handled by Sushan Prajapati.

The soundtrack features compositions by Prashant Siwakoti and Hercules Basnet. Produced under Planet 3 Films and Yolo Entertainment, the movie is slated for release on Asoj 3, coinciding with Nepal’s Constitution Day.

The film will be distributed by RR Films Pvt. Ltd. in Nepal, and its digital rights have been acquired by OSR Digital. With its rich folk essence, cultural appeal, and strong message, ‘Soltini’ is poised to leave a mark in modern Nepali cinema.
