
Three Powerful Posters of Nepali Film ‘Citamol’ Unveiled
Kathmandu: The upcoming Nepali film ‘Citamol,’ directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, has officially revealed three striking new posters ahead of its theatrical release on Shrawan 23. The emotionally charged visuals are designed to evoke curiosity and connect with the core themes of the movie.
The first poster, symbolic in nature, features Saugat Malla alone, walking with the aid of crutches, evoking a sense of solitude and emotional depth. The second poster presents the ensemble cast—Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Shri Krishna Niraula, Januka Bishwokarma, and Lokendra Lekhak—each portrayed in character, reflecting the film’s diverse narrative layers. The third poster captures a heartfelt moment with lead actors Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, and child actor Karan Nepali, offering a glimpse into the emotional core of the story.
According to the production team, these visuals are intended to build anticipation while offering a glimpse into the film’s emotionally and socially resonant storyline.
‘Citamol’ features a strong ensemble cast including Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Shri Krishna Niraula, Januka Bishwokarma, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiuwala Gautam, Sushil Pokharel, Dinesh Regmi, RR Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, and child actors Karan Nepali and Aradhya Rajya Laxmi D.C.
The film explores symbolic themes rooted in Nepali society, highlighting longstanding superstitions, social issues, and cultural norms. As per director Sane, ‘Citamol’ is not just a narrative but a mirror to societal realities, aiming to stir both emotion and conversation among its viewers.
Presented by Tulshi Devi Films in association with Juntara Films, the screenplay is co-written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and Raj Bahadur Sane.
The production boasts a strong technical crew: music by Babul Giri, choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj, editing by Bande Prasad, DI color by Rajendra Moktan, sound design by Mukesh Shah, action direction by Dev Maharjan and Shankar Maharjan, and cinematography by Divya Subedi. Posters are designed by Rakesh Dahal, with Bikas Tamang and Dhan Bahadur Rai as production managers.
