
Advance Bookings Open for The Woolen Sweater & Jaar
Kathmandu: Advance bookings have officially opened for the much-anticipated Nepali films The Woolen Sweater and Jaar, which are set to release nationwide this Friday, Baisakh 26.
Major multiplexes, including QFX, INI Cinemas, and Big Movies, have started scheduling shows, with many fully prepared for opening-day screenings on Tuesday evening.
QFX, Nepal’s largest multiplex chain, has allotted The Woolen Sweater an impressive 48 shows across the country on its first day—21 of them in Kathmandu alone. Meanwhile, Jaar has received 24 shows from QFX, including 13 in the capital.
INI Cinemas has given 18 shows to The Woolen Sweater and 8 to Jaar, while Big Movies has added 5 and 2 shows, respectively. Other multiplexes are also joining in, with some still finalizing their schedules.
Directed by Nabin Chauhan, The Woolen Sweater features a star-studded cast including Bipin Karki, Miruna Magar, Wilson Bikram Rai, Alex Paras, and more. The film explores emotion, identity, and family relationships.
Jaar, directed by Phurba Tshering Lama, stars Saugat Malla, Anoop Bikram Shahi, and acclaimed actress Geetanjali Thapa. The film promises a gripping narrative with strong performances.
Both films are drawing attention for their casting, direction, and storytelling style, and expectations are high for their box office performance.
