Kathmandu: The pre-teaser of the much-anticipated Nepali film Balidan has been released, timed to coincide with the birthday of its lead actor, Samir Bhatta. The film is slated for release during this year’s Dashain festival.

The brief teaser showcases Bhatta in intense action sequences, accompanied by a powerful voiceover that stirs nationalistic emotions. Though short, the video offers a compelling glimpse into the film’s tone, setting the stage for what could be a standout performance from the rising star.

Director Santosh Sen spoke highly of Bhatta’s portrayal in the film, noting that Balidan brings out the full spectrum of his acting and artistry. “This pre-teaser is just the beginning. We’ll be sharing more glimpses of Samir’s dynamic role in the days ahead,” Sen said.

Balidan features an ensemble cast including Saugat Malla, Arpan Thapa, Richa Sharma, Kabita Rai, Hemant Budhathoki, and Prem Puri. The film is presented by Aasusen Films Production, produced by Pawan Bradford Bista, with Prem Puri serving as executive producer.
