Filming Begins for Nepali Movie ‘Chameliko Poi’
The shooting of the film ‘Chameliko Poi,’ directed by Everest Surya Bohara, has begun. The film, which was auspicious by performing puja at the Budhanilkantha Temple on the occasion of the New Year on the 1st, began shooting in Mustang on Tuesday.
The film stars Mukun Bhusal, Surakshya Panta, and Narayan Tripathi in the lead roles, with Rabindra Jha, Rajani Gurung, Anshu Maharjan, Umesh Rai (Phulande’s mother), Babin Rai (Gulfane), Khadga Bahadur Pun (Khabpu), Anushka Narayan, Mira Gautam, Anil Gurung, Ganesh Gautam, Ritu Malla Thakuri, Dhanalakshmi Bohara, Mira RL Shahi Thakuri, Prakash Kandel, Binod Bajracharya, Kapil Acharya, Pradeep Kumar Sapkota, Sunita Sapkota, Ram Narayan Upadhyay and director Bohara will also be acting.
The film, which will be produced by Dhanalakshmi Cine Makers in co-production with Everest Surya Bohara Films, is produced by Sunita Sapkota and Ram Narayan Upadhyay and executive produced by Uday Bikram Rana and Ritu Malla Thakuri.
The film, co-produced by Pradeep Kumar Sapkota, Kapil Acharya, Yama Prasad Oli, Yama Baral, Narayan Tripathi and Sudip Kunwar, is written by director Bohara himself. He has been assisted in co-writing by Shivam Adhikari.
The family drama ‘Chameliko Poi’ will feature music by Shambhujeet Baskota, Rajan Raj Shiwakoti and Ashish Abiral. The film will be shot in Kathmandu and Pokhara after Mustang.
