Kathmandu: The first official poster of the much-awaited Nepali comedy-drama Jante Bakhro has been unveiled. The film is set for nationwide release on Jestha 23 and features an exciting blend of humor, rural culture, and mystery.

Produced by Muin Entertainment and directed by Simosh Sunuwar, the film’s poster has sparked buzz with its unique visuals — most notably a goat wearing rose-colored glasses, symbolizing both humor and intrigue. Lead actors Saugat Malla, Garima Sharma, Asif Shah, Rusha Neupane, and others are featured in expressive poses, hinting at an engaging and lighthearted narrative.

The film also stars Rama Thapaliya, Sneha Joshi, Kamal Devkota, and Kushal Gajmer. Songs like Ghamai Raja and Angurko Jhuppo have already gained popularity online, boosting excitement for the release.

Written by Pradeep Bhardwaj and produced by Santosh Gautam, Jante Bakhro is inspired by a traditional Nepali wedding custom. The cinematography is by Uttam Humagain, and editing is by Sunil Shivabhakti. The film’s digital rights have been acquired by G21 Digital, with distribution handled by Tea Folks Films.
