Kathmandu: The second song from the upcoming Nepali film Yo Mann Ta Mero Nepali Ho, titled “Hera Lau Nepal Aama Ko,” has been officially released, stirring national pride and emotional resonance among fans. The film is slated for release on Asadh 10.
Blending the soulful rhythm of a Khaijadi bhajan with powerful lyrics, the song captures Nepal’s journey through time, promoting themes of unity, harmony, and cultural pride. The song’s vocals, lyrics, and music are all composed by Anish Adhikari, adding an authentic and heartfelt tone to this musical tribute.
The music video, choreographed by Pramod Bhandari, visually portrays the essence of worship and unity. Featured in the video are lead actors from the film, including Roshan Shrestha, Bijay Baral, Wilson Bikram Rai, Buddhi Tamang, Ayusha Samal, Bijita Bardewa and Dev Raj Rajbanshi. Their performances reflect the collective spirit and diversity of Nepali society.
This release follows the film’s first song, “Timro Aankhai Rasilo,” which was also well-received. With each musical release, Yo Mann Ta Mero Nepali Ho continues to build anticipation for its official debut.
The film is written and directed by Nar Pradhan (Mitra) and features a versatile cast that includes Narayan Khati, Bhupendra Lingden, Subash Bhandari, Bijay Subba, and Anish Adhikari. The story centers around the importance, fascination, and history of the Nepali language, making it a culturally significant cinematic experience.
Padma Ishwor Entertainment presents the film, with production led by Gyan Bahadur Pradhan (Roshan) and presentation support from Mitra Pradhan.
The technical team also brings high standards to the project with music by Deepak Sharma, cinematography by Saurabh Lama, and choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj. The fight direction by Dev Maharjan and VFX by Sameer Miya promise compelling visuals and storytelling.
Filming locations span both Nepal and India, including Jhapa, Ilam, Sikkim, and Darjeeling, tying the cross-border cultural threads of Nepali-speaking communities.
