Narashimha Avatar Trailer: Hamal’s Comeback in Action

Kathmandu: The action-packed trailer of legendary actor Rajesh Hamal’s comeback film Narashimha Avatar has officially dropped, creating a buzz across Nepal. The 3-minute, 15-second trailer was launched at an event in Kathmandu on Thursday, marking Hamal’s return to cinema after eight years.

The trailer reveals that Narashimha Avatar tackles intense social issues like rape, murder, violence, and corruption. Hamal appears in two powerful avatars, portraying a justice-seeking character who challenges tyranny. His signature “Hey…” dialogue at the end of the trailer ignited nostalgia among fans.

Model and actress Niti Shah plays Hamal’s wife, while Raj Katuwal is seen performing gripping action sequences. The film also features an ensemble cast including Saroj Khanal, Sanisha Bhattarai, Usha Khadgi, Nir Shah, and others.

Narashimha Avatar is written and directed by Diwakar Bhattarai and is scheduled for nationwide release on Jestha 9. It is jointly produced by Nem Maharjan (Creative Cine Arts), Dipak Sharma Dhakal, Narendra Maharjan, and Dhruba Neupane.

The film’s technical crew includes Raju Thapa (DOP), Sahil Khan & Milan Shrestha (editing), Raju Tamang (action direction), and Samir Miyan (VFX). The emotional depth is enhanced by a background score from Rikesh Gurung, and the film features choreography by Kabiraj Gahatraj, Mycall Chand, and Ramji Lamichhane.

The remake of the popular classic song ‘Achha Lekin London Ko’ is already creating a buzz, adding to the anticipation for the film.
