Kathmandu: Actor Salon Basnet’s debut production, Rangi, is all set to hit 27 theaters across London starting May 9 (Baishakh 26), distributed by Maharani Productions under the direction of Bikram Joshi.

Joshi confirmed that the film has passed the London censor board, receiving a PG certificate, making it suitable for wider audiences. Rangi first premiered in Nepal on Valentine’s Day (Falgun 02) and has already been screened in various cities across Australia.

The film delves into the touching bond between a father and daughter, with Salon Basnet portraying a single father. The cast includes Namrata Shrestha, Dilip Rayamajhi, Ayushi Dhakal, Uttam KC, Sumin Gurung, and Bishal Pahari.

Directed by Suresh Neupane and produced by Saanvi Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film is backed by Saksham Subedi, Karishma KC (Basnet), and Anish Gautam. The story is penned by Suman Gajmer, with cinematography by Saurabh Lama. Music is composed by Durgesh Thapa, Amesh Bhandari, and Bhim BC, while editing is done by Bande Prasad. Choreography credits go to Kabiraj Gahatraj and Shishir Khati.
