Actor Ashish Piya, who made his debut in Nepali cinema with the film ‘Summer Love,’ based on the famous novel ‘Summer Love’ by Subin Bhattarai, is set to make a comeback in the film industry.

He is scheduled to return to the Nepali film industry with “Amigos,” five years after “Summer Love” was released. He will star in the romantic comedy “Amigos,” which will be filmed in Nepal and Australia starting in Bhadra.

Markendey Dipbim Basnet (Marku) will write and direct the film. After nearly ten years, he is also returning to writing and directing Nepali films. He had previously directed and written “Dravya” and “Sourya.”

The love story film ‘Amigos,’ produced under the banner of BS International Studios, will be produced by Vikas Acharya. This is his first foray into film production. The film, co-produced by Surendra Rawal, will be shot 70 percent in Australia and 30 percent in Nepal.

According to the production team, they are now looking for two main performers for the film. An actor and an actress, excluding Ashish, who will play the lead role, will be decided in a few days, according to the production team.
